[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=vAlign,top] THIRTY FEMALE N/A UNKNOWN FIRST YEAR EASTERN DRAGON " 言わぬが花 " [Not speaking is the flower] | KONOE, HANA general information NAME: Konoe Hana (Hana Konoe) HEIGHT: 4'5" WEIGHT: 80 lbs APPEARANCE: Vivid red eyes that are full of emptiness stare into nothing, reflecting the boredom or blankness of her expression. Furthermore, her tone of voice is almost always monotonous yet also harmoniously soft. Accompanying her small, egg-shaped face is her choppy hair which is bluish in colour, the length is short and her fringe usually falls to one side. While still youthful, her alabaster skin is smooth and soft to touch. With an undeveloped and petite body, she has no curves or muscles – only a thin physique. When it comes to fashion she is usually wearing flowy dresses and sandals, preferring them to be in light shades of colour. She does not wear jewellery or other accessories. However, an exception to this are her tufts of pink feathers with a flowery texture sitting behind her ears. This characteristic is part of her dragon appearance and they happen to have adjusted into the form of hair accessories for her human facade. In her true form, she is a bluish-green dragon of Japanese origin. Her graceful figure is slender and serpentine-like with feathers covering all over. Although she is predominantly bluish-green, other colours such as yellow, white and pink blend in at the edges. By the top of her head are two white antlers with pale pink feathers growing at the base and around her ears. She has the same red eyes, still emotionless. personal POWERS: • Superior speed • Wind manipulation LIKES:
DISLIKES:
HABITS: • Hana is a glutton and is constantly eating excessively • Usually when she is hungry and there is no food, she has a habit of chewing on things as substitute • Occasionally falling asleep and using others as a pillow FEARS: Dark superstitions, hard truth of reality, isolation, betrayal OVERALL: [innocent, loyal, imaginative] [indifferent, dependent, oblivious] An aspect of being young is her innocence, that gullible and naïve nature. More often than not, she is inclined to trust anyone and everyone due to her poor judgement skills, tendency to be clingy, and also because of her denseness and inexperience. This child is easily influenced and manipulated. On a lighter note though, that innocence brings curiosity and light-hearted playfulness. Hana is someone who is very free-spirited and not serious or educated in the values of hard work. There is also the childish and naughty side of her and this comes out when she does not know her boundaries. Hana is blind: she is clueless, tactless and frustratingly dense. Whether she is told jokes or given sarcasm or some other form of figurative language, her small brain will not be able to deduce the incoming information. Oblivious and shameless, she may sometimes seem inconsiderate or insensitive to others, out of place and generally presenting herself out of context. Living in a dream and seeing a false world through her eyes, she is a self-deluded child. Her ideas and thoughts are unrealistic, childish even and clouded with innocence. Her blossoming imagination however, opens up many perspectives and insight – this is her own unique intelligence. Often, she uses figurative language to express herself. Hana is creative and with a mind still developing, she is always willing to attempt new things so long as they are not mentally and physically tiring. Outwardly, she appears disinterested and unenthusiastic but that is because she does not understand emotions. Consequently her character is very quiet, distant and reserved. She has no sense of humour. With the lack of emotions and her weak understanding, she finds it difficult to feel sympathy or empathy for others and relating to them in general. Devotion is her pride and she will reveal a dangerous side in defending it. However, her loyalty to others is also her dependence on them. Being the incompetent and unreliable person she is, the dragon desires a sense of attachment to avoid helplessness and loneliness. Hana is naturally drawn to anyone regardless of species and/or personality as long as she can cling to and depend on someone, so to speak. In contrast, she will lay down her life for them and the reason is not necessarily out of trust or love but simply because they are connected by a bond. HISTORY: At the time when she was still an egg, she was snatched away by another dragon for reasons unknown to her. Her parents engaged in battle with the thief, the outcome resulted in the death of her mother and the father survived barely; the thief was killed and the dragon egg was retrieved. It concerned the father that the egg was very late to hatch and when she finally broke out of her shell, she was a very weak youngling. With his heart frightened to lose his only kin, he sheltered her deep in the valleys and did not allow her to explore or experience the world; he wanted her to live under his overprotective sanctuary. Hana did not think much of it, instead she enjoyed his attention. As she could not venture out under the strict wishes of her father, she was told stories which coloured her imagination and interpretation of the outside world. Her father was often metaphorical; something that she carried on and sometimes took literally. He used such language to protect her innocence. One day out of curiosity she asked to explore the world but her father rejected the request and he reasoned that she was not strong enough and could possibly die. Her father was only trying to keep her out of harm’s way and was probably still traumatized from the death of her mother, while blaming himself for the situation. Hana felt very unworthy to be his daughter because his only pride was her, an incompetent youngling. In compensation, she devoted herself to him – listened and obeyed his wishes if that would please him and raise his views of her. Even so, it always seemed like he only pitied her and this shaped her emotional development. A few years passed and her father died, his body was never able to fully recover from the attack that happened when she was stolen as an egg. Hana did not want to believe in death and convinced herself that he was in an ‘eternal sleep’. To her, freedom was hell. She had always relied and submissively followed her father. Without that guidance, she did not know what to do and lost herself in her delusions. That is, until she listened to the sweet song of the wind and followed its direction. The wind became her guardian and she hesitantly left the valley of her home. Unbeknownst of where she was heading, she encountered the strangest beauties she never had the chance to see. Lost and free in the vast skies, she was found by a creature foreign yet intriguing to her and was taken to a place called ‘Seisen Academy’. out of character OOC NAME: Feb CHARACTER(S): V_V FACE CLAIM: • [C]: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control • q, konoe hana |
