[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=vAlign,top] TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT MALE VELVET ROOM FLOOR STAFF | MORPHINE AND MENAGERIE MEMBER BISEXUAL CIVILIAN VAMPIRE "Hope that washed ashore turned into a vivid despair.Under the darkness, I don't need any regret. " | HEMLOCK, JUDAS general information NAME: Judas Clementine Hemlock HEIGHT: 6 ft. + 5 in. WEIGHT: 154 lb. APPEARANCE: Judas definitely has the look of what most normal people would imagine as a vampire. His skin is very pale, and most of the colors that he wears can not be considered "happy" colors. Apologies to the fans of a certain book series, but when he goes out in sunlight he does not sparkle harmlessly. Instead he burns after a few seconds which is hardly considered attractive, it would be stupid if someone did though. There are some things make Judas' skin look, undesirable, actually. There are three long strokes on his right arm, one from his elbow all the way to his knuckles, another just about to his wrist, and a small one about 2 inches or so. On the left there are only two, in between his wrist and elbow on the forearm. Speaking of his limbs, Judas is flexible. When he was young, and by young I mean human-young, he learned it to survive in his rather rat-like life. Luckily his face is super handsome and untouched, well the handsome part may be exaggerated. Locks of royal purple hair stream down his face like a damn waterfall, and most of the time his bangs from the left side are brushed behind his left ear, not pierced, Judas has never ever gotten his ears pierced before, while on the right his face is nearly covered. It's almost as if he died but his eyes won't close. But he can't exactly cover his entire face with close twenty four hours a day. Instead he covers his body a bit more. It's not to the point where the only things in his closet are long sleeved shirts and tall lengthy pants though. Only most of his pants are tall and lengthy, there's like two pairs of shorts in there. His shirts are the most colorful in his wardrobe, and mostly shades of red, purple, or blue. None are of complex designs, like adding ruffles and patterns. Then he covers his arms with thin jackets, most of his jackets are thin and unsuitable for cold, winter is especially cold since it's easier for the temperature to get to him. personal POWERS: • Enhanced Vision • Superior Speed LIKES:
DISLIKES:
HABITS: • One action Judas performs very often is putting his hair behind his ear on the left side, even when he doesn't have any hair blocking his eyes. • Biting his lips when stressed and angry • Not sleeping. Well maybe it wasn't a habit, but he doesn't sleep that often. Judas doesn't really sleep a lot, but when he does it is for way too long. For a couple days to weeks it might be about two to four hours a night, then suddenly he passes out for a couple of days.(exaggeration?....) FEARS: Drowning. He is devastated at the thought, yet his fear of it has not really been caused by a certain event that he can remember. Because Judas is afraid of drowning he avoids swimming a lot. OVERALL:
Judas has habits of organizing, because he doubts his memory's capabilities to remember where he put stuff. He's able to be in Morphine without being discovered that he's in Zodiac as well, so that says something about him. Most of the time he writes stuff that he might use later in one of those small note-books. His emotional shell is as strong metal too. But it breaks for a certain few people around him. Lately he has been having doubts though, about being in Zodiac. HISTORY: It started a long, long time ago in Paris, France. About 1784, in the Winter time, specifically on December fourth, a young boy was born. That boy's parents did want the boy, for they were very poor and feared they could not take care of the boy and have their own survival threatened. And his name was Judas, which would eventually set him up for a terrible life as the current him put it. Even from then on he was not the happiest person in the world, and a bit far from it actually.... When he was about four he was in a room, the kitchen. His father was sitting across him, and on the wooden table was nothing at all. He had his face buried in his hands. It was very depressing, yet at the time Judas can remember that he did not understand what he was doing. Everything was silent at the time and uncomfortable but there was something else that he remembered, that he didn't leave the table. Things before and after that are a blur to him, so he doesn't know why, but he does remember it. Family was not the best part of his childhood or the rest of his life. It was always quiet and awkward yet they could not exactly leave each other because they were related. In the next years he was a bit hot-headed. The young and not gentle gentleman had a tendency to criticize much and it often got him beat up. Then there was when he tried to steal food and got beat up, but in his times there was not a lot of food to actually steal. Most of the time Judas just wanted to cry really. It was because, well, there wasn't anyone truly 'around' him, you know? Oh but then he met a friend, an actual friend. Even though he was just so...Judas, it was actually still possible! She was named Edith. This miraculous happening occurred when Judas was beginning his adolescence, about age eleven or so? Edith was a bit older though, aged to thirteen but looked as old as the boy. She had beautiful black hair, though in some lighting it looked brown, but even so it was so pretty. Back then the young man had blonde hair himself, and he did not like it at all. Edith admired his blonde hair though, it was bright to her and she liked that. The other was so patient with all of Judas' little tidbits and criticisms about things, and talked more to fill in his lack of actual conversation while he listened. It distracted Judas from the fact that he didn't have a mother anymore, and how his father was expressing his sorrows, and how so many people were dying due to the problems in his small world by execution as much as every other cause. With the addition of Edith to his previously lone party Judas also met her family, which was so enviable that it hurt. It wasn't a big family, she only had one brother who was already an adult, his name was Nathan, age 19. He was a nice lass that looked like a younger version of the father with actual black hair usually combed backwards. Her parents were very nice, though currently Judas can't remember what their names were. The dad looked well into his late fifties, with many wrinkles on his face, and a very interesting scar running diagonally across his right cheek. And the mom was very pretty, and had a resemblance to Edith, though Judas can still not remember their names. He's already done enough though, a human can only imagine what it's like to remember something from over two hundred years ago. Anyway, they were like the family Judas would never ever have, or would he? Though they couldn't change the growing man to be more social he acted at least a bit nicer, somewhat. Remember Judas',"going into adolescence," part? Well, he had yet to experience love. He did not mind the lack of feelings towards another person, there was not enough in him to do so. Or was there? Well, Edith was the first girl for Judas to grow close to. One day they were sitting on some stone wall, it had just rained. The two were talking about something that he does not remember, talking while sitting close together I must add. So the young lass just turns to the side to look at her, and she turns at the same time. And somehow they kiss. After about a split second of infectious contact Edith pulled away. Too bad, she was a lucky girl. Everything about their relationship crumbled after that. The worst part of it was that Judas didn't know what was happening. He held no romantic feelings for Edith right? He just felt really lonely without her, and without her he couldn't meet her family who were also his friends. After having glimpses of something a bit better, the boy who never had anything felt as if something was taken away. That was the part where Judas was starting to believe in the world. That God really did see him as a person who meant to exist, that everything would start getting better. And then it was crushed. God was not there for him, there were so many people in the world. But inside he blamed himself, because he was born broken. You can't put together something that is broken and missing pieces, trashed and abused as if it didn't matter. This broken boy named Judas was one of those people, who just didn't matter. It was because he couldn't fit in the giant puzzle of life, that he lived alone. Life was really small. It was so lonely, and Judas was sad. It was like no one else could fit into that tiny space of nothingness with him. But he felt lost in how alone he was. Still he saw her though, it was just so different now. Her father had fallen ill, and Edith was devastated about it. As Judas was walking home from a visit to him one day a man approached him. This man was much taller than the currently seventeen year old boy, and the seventeen year old boy was already five feet and eleven inches and growing. He had bright blonde hair that did not match his brown eyebrows, and two mismatched eyes. His right was a deep red, and the other was a blind gray to white color, with uneven skin around, and Judas never knew why this soon to be well known person's left eye was so messed up and just plain disgusting. This man was named Jack. Jack said to Judas in a very lonely and dark street in a very whisper-like and raspy tone,"I'll make him alright if you come with me." The cold night air touching his arms and body where it could mixed with the effect of Jack's tough hand grazing his cheek made him shiver. Somehow it was obvious to him that Judas would not get away from this. The troubled lonely and crushed individual could not help but take the path the stranger had put out for him......"Really?" Where he was taken was a house that looked like it belonged to a noble. Even with so much happening with the government at the time, according to the street talk Judas overheard nobles were being overthrown and the ones that remained had to eat rats and trade their jewels for a decent meal! In the well-lit living room where he was taken, the man named Jack only laughed at him. Laughed at him rather loudly, if he must say. The echo of his deep voice still haunts him to this day. The deal was that if Judas worked for him, then Edith's father would be saved and somehow cured. Now he still does not know why, but he presumed he could never see her again. But Judas considers that maybe, he just didn't want to. His job was to be a butler, just a simple butler in a suit to handle everyday things in the house, as he thought. But it was going to turn out to be much more than that. It was alright with his family, since had none. Judas never really saw his mother anymore. The room that he was supplied was small and came with a bed and a desk, very simple. There was nothing horrible about it or good about it, with plain green wallpaper to compliment its generic feeling. This was the room that Judas would be staying in for many years ahead. Exactly as one would expect for someone who grew up on the streets without much schooling, Judas was not that smart and did not have much skill required for a position in a noble household. But to Jack it was apparently not a problem, in fact he taught him many things. There was things like math, and then cooking, then proper cleaning, and then the more entertaining things. Though it took time, a whole year passed before Judas learned how to juggle. Not that juggling mattered. Time to time Judas would serve for a party, in a black and white suit and everything a butler should have to look like one. The people there did not look like nobles though, though they had many diverse looks, and he was strictly ordered by Jack not to listen in on conversations, and constantly reminded by others who were working. In the times that he was not training Judas met a woman named Reina, and she was peculiar in more ways than one. She was so overjoyed with life and the sun and gardening too. But along walks outside Judas never saw her beside the garden, which made him very curious. When he asked her about it though she just acted uncomfortable and avoided it until the butler stopped pressing her about it. Now that he had a place here, Judas never went out, and he was never asked too. This went on for about four years. Most of his time was spent with Jack. The time that he was in his company Judas was educated mostly and it was so annoying, he talked a lot of back smack in the beginning but succumbed to learning to be a good butler over time. Though he wondered why he was being taught all of this, and more importantly, when it would stop. A butler did not need to know how to juggle or play piano or do card tricks, right? When Judas asked Jack about it, the old buff looking but not wise gentleman just said that it was fun to teach him these. That really disappointed him. On the fifth year though while Jack was kicking his stomach while Judas squirmed on the ground for playing the violin wrong when he did perfectly fine, yes this was why he complained a lot isn't it surprising that it was for a sort of legitimate reason and all, a woman appeared at the door. Yes this woman is going to appear to be important as well. The name of this soon-to-be described individual was Constance. Constance was very elegant, at the least. She was a lady who fit in the 'sexy' category of appearances . Her beauty could not be rivaled by anyone else in the household, except maybe Reina? Actually no Reina was normal, Constance's beauty could crush her Tulips into oblivion, and those were same strong tulips. Judas dropped himself on them and they were crushed for a while but the next day they were sprung up which was really, REALLY weird. Maybe they were just changed but it was an exact match. Her bright violet hair was like an ocean of peace, but only cascaded to her shoulders. She had a dress fit for the queen, when she was alive. The first thing she ever said to him was,"You sounded wonderful." This statement would be relevant to something that will happen later. The big strong manly embodiment of a man's manliness, Jack, bowed to her. Jack never did that kind of sh-...stuff for Judas, ever. Every now and then it did seem like he was flirting with him, but that's nothing. It turns out Miss Constance Sacheverell was the mysterious owner of this place, she actually did not sound French. Later when he got to know her he found out that she was not from the country, but she did not say where she was actually from. Going back to the present point in the story where it was left off, Constance asked for Judas to come to her room. The question was, where was her room? Seriously as a butler who lived in that only slightly-bigger-than-a-big-house house it was expected to know every room that was publicly accessible. Well it turns out Judas didn't know where every room was, but it was actually in plain sight. Jack hid the door with a plant. This door wasn't extravagant so it was easily hidden, it pissed the boy off though that's what it did. Now until today Judas assumed that Jack was the master of the house even though his last name was Hugon, which was not the name of the household. But in that moment when Judas opened the door creaked with age and mystery, that was when Judas truly entered the world that would eventually ruin his life. Now he didn't know how, but that room was so much bigger, it was lined with velvet of the deepest red. There were many paintings and darkened indigo curtains that seemed like they were hiding windows. The lighting was strange, a dim pure white behind the desk of Constance. Now why did she decorate this special room in such a way? Judas would never know, ever. Of course the first thing to ask was why he was there, that's obvious. Constance stood up and motioned him to her, he shouldn't have. She immediately pulled him onto her desk, scattering many papers, and continued on to violently snog him. After, she held him close for one creepy whisper,"That was nice." Afterwards when Judas took a seat at least two feet away from her she started to explain. He was brought her to be family, that was it. The reason he had to learn so much was that she wanted noble people to be part of it. So Jack taught Judas to be noble. But why could she not just have a child of her own with a husband? Constance replied that she was not able to have children, after many attempts even with different men she gave up. Why did she want a family? Constance's story is of her own, and Judas in that time never did ask her. From this moment on he would spent more time with her, at parties, and just in general, along with other people that she had called upon. Then very calmly he was excused to exit, in which he calmly scampered out of the room. He broke the plant in front of the door on accident, and had to clean it up. Jack hugged him and spun around a lot the next time he saw him. He said that from now on they would be spending much more time outside in the sun, rather desperately for some reason. Oh if only the boy knew. It was a bright day outside, yet all the classical songs that Jack was teaching him were so sad. All of them were sad, all of them. It did not help how much Judas disliked playing. When Judas asked him about it he said that Constance liked such songs, strange for such a smiling person really. Reina did not like any songs, as she said. But Reina never was around in the day-time anyway. Then in some nights he went to the kitchen, it seemed that Irene knew how to cook very well, and she commanded him to assist her. That was okay, because most of his nights were spent with Miss Constance. They were very awkward though. Even in all the years he spent with them Judas did not feel close to them, the closest was Irene but they did not see each other much. Jack stuck to doing what he was told to do for Judas, and Miss Constance just had him sit close-by to her, sometimes there was a book to read or a violin to play, a game of chess did bond them together as well. In those nights there was no time where an adequate amount of talking came up though. It was a real discomfort actually. Even though there were so many opportunities to question Constance about many things the butler and, family?, did not. Not about why he was taught music that was not even played in the same room as her, or about her hair, or her past and desire for family, or how she got here and how she bought this house, and about Edith. Sometimes his mind was on the verge of forgetting her existence, but then the name suddenly came back once more. Though the parties were entirely different. There were colors to be dressed in and joyful music to be played instead of the sorrowful pieces that filled the halls any day and night otherwise. Obviously Jack had taught Judas how to dance, though at that time he saw no use in learning how to do so because he was just a simple butler. Now he was a butler with a very complex part. The many diverse people who he had previously served were dancing and talking to him. All of them came from all over the world, they both told him and he could tell by the different accents they had. A good portion of them were more than beautiful, though his lovely master Miss Constance was still the best out of all, even if she were to not wearing a fancy dress and was ordinarily clothed like some of the other guests. But...there was one thing strange, there was only red wine or something to drink, yet he was not allowed to. He was brought water, and was the only one drinking water in the whole room. It was very strange. But one day something happened while he was beautifully playing piano in the sun, which he hated. Well not the sun but playing piano, really, imagine having to do that everyday for like hours, torturous? Definitely, especially if you were him. Anyway what happened was that Reina called to him from inside of the house, she was peeking out the door and yelling to the gazebo where he was practicing. Surprisingly after so long this was the first time that Jack had missed him, so he was alone. Judas ran in to see so many of the other servant looking people running about. But instead of standing there in ignorance Reina ran up to him to explain what happened. Jack killed Miss Constance. Constance was dead and Jack was a traitor to the, "family", as she called it. All these years and he didn't know what the family was, or what they did. All there was to do practice this, practice that, practice the other thing, serve the party and clean a room or two. There were no activities involving a "family", that he was allowed to heard of even though he had lived here for so long. Reina was on the verge of tears as well, but Judas did not know how to comfort her. In fact, he did not really want to comfort her. How was he suppose to feel about this? He was really confused and no one told him about anything that happened ever while he followed everything they told him to do instead without a question, but indeed a second thought. But this time he did ask for something. Maybe it was because he wanted to make sure for himself that Miss Constance was dead, because everyone else who never told him anything, could not be trusted. And right when he was started think he could get close with them, actually no, that was just another lie. Why? Because Judas felt as if he was alone, right from the very start of his life, if you still remember that part. Maybe even before that. If there was God, he was never there for him. Hope just didn't exist anymore because no one even told him what was happening so that he could have a situation to have hope in! And Miss Constance was dead alright. The damn lady bled all over her precious bedroom floor, but her body wasn't there. They said that they moved the body, and Judas believed it because no one could bleed this much and survive. The worst part that he can currently remember was that he didn't question why all of them were whispering, and he couldn't hear them discuss what they were about to do to him. Oh gosh why didn't he know!?!?!?!? Did they not trust him? It was because of the name that his parents gave him, was it not, that he did think so. He was innocent, and turning to Reina he definitely did ask so innocently,"What are they talking about?" in an innocent tone and just wanting to know because the man who brought him here had betrayed this "family" and killed the master of the house which he served for so many years. Those bastards turned him into a vampire. But not before taking him to some sort of scientist, under the house which he didn't know about like every important thing in the damn mansion. There were chemicals, and they tied him to a chair to stop him from squirming, and then the next thing he knew he had purple hair. It was really strange and he tried to ask why but they told him that he could ask later. Reina was one of those bastards, she didn't even answer his question. What if, there was a possibility that it was not Judas that was horrible, but everyone else. This he considered, as they took him to what used to be Miss Constance's bedroom, and on her bed a man he did not know, made him bleed. And then there was a warm liquid in his mouth. All he could even remember from that experience was that the man looked like he had cried, cried a lot, and he never knew why. If you thought that he was cold and heartless before, he was double of that now. There was no one he could trust, and all he had to do was run away. First he was isolated on the streets, then inside of this house, and then the whole entire world because no one was as broken and ignorant and cold as he was. No one was. Unfortunately they caught him easily. Flying men from the air literally grabbed him as he ran in the streets with bloodstained clothes and tears. One of them had a scar going diagonally across his cheek, and then the other looked like a younger version of him. Both looked at him with hatred, even if he was definitely so much more scared and afraid than they were. Humanity would grow more distant for every second ever since that day. Judas was like a hermit inside Constance's former room, the only person who came in was Reina with blood, that took getting used to, and a bit of explaining. Okay so there was the family of course, all of them were vampires, except one. That exception was Jack who was a werewolf, but due to extreme mistrust no one talked to him in the household except for Judas and at parties. The reason why they were a family were to kill all hunters, yes all, isn't that ambitious? Miss Constance was used as their icon, she was eccentric and mostly friendly but when it came to hunters she changed, seriously changed apparently. Then Jack betrayed everyone and killed her, the master, for unknown reasons. The next few months were boring and all with getting used to being a vampire and all. At least he learned the best he could when he hated everyone around him. Judas just wouldn't let anyone else inside of the shell he had set up for himself. At least they finally let him go to search for Jack the traitor. But after he took care of Jack, the new "icon" or whatever would never go back to the household. There was just so much hatred for all of them coming from the boy, wait, not a boy, the man, not even a man, the vampire. How he wished that he had gotten on a different ship. There was disgusting food that would have most likely given him illnesses if he was not a vampire, how that worked was unknown to him and he never did ask because that meant listening to them more. Now America wasn't all that great. Especially because no one bothered to teach Judas English. That was really stupid but it wasn't like he would actually talk to people anyway. He just stole and pick pocketed and went to sneak into vacant inn rooms when he wanted to sleep. This carried on for a couple of years. Sometimes people talked to him and grew sort of close, but in no way could he ever consider them friends. Then there was this French man there. While hunting for the night Judas found him sucking the bloodstream from another woman. He told him about Jack, that he wasn't even in town anymore. The useful thing about him was that he gave him a general description of his whereabouts. Judas didn't stick around to talk to him though, his mood grew to a boiling point of anger and disappointment and just a general bundle of bad emotions. For many years it was just filled with chasing Jack around, giving up for a while and contemplating himself, then back to chasing Jack. Judas was so going to finish this and then move on. And when he finally cornered the old, now weak werewolf in an alley-way then he didn't go back on his word about his death. With all the time that had passed he forgot how he would never go back to France, and then he took a ship ride there. The one who answered the door of the house was Reina, as fate would have it. In some point of time they painted the house black and green, making it look a bit sinister. She looked young as always, like she hadn't even aged a day. Judas talked to her for a while, telling her that Jack was dead, and she didn't seem the least bit happy. She looked both ways, as if checking to see if someone were spying, and told him to leave. Maybe it was an effect of being so anti-social for all this time, but she looked so sad, so guilty, for some reason. He learned that she should've been just a short time after. All he remembered is that he was knocked out, there were people around him, and they were in an alley when it happened. Many of his memories were a blur from this point on. The exception was when he was set up with a man. Not in that sort of fashion. It was after Judas had woken up in a cage, it was cold and he was scared. Why was he scared? The man he met was to teach him English. Of course this man he met spoke French as well. This would be the only clear memory Judas would have for this time period in his life, learning English from some guy he didn't know the name of. Then he went to go live with someone. He was named Mr. Cunnoway. There are bits of what happened with him here and there, but Judas mainly recalls acts of pain and being hit a lot. He just doesn't want to remember. Things start to come back from a party they were at. Judas stood uncomfortably at his side, then there was some ruckus to be heard, and people were dying. He doesn't know if he was the one who killed him or not, what mattered that Mr. Cunnoway was dead. After finding out that, well, it was such a relief apparently that he cried for a while. There were other supernaturals that were put in a similar position as he was, and came together just to kill every human and hunter. They eventually formed a group and Judas joined it. That's when feelings started to happen, feelings towards the one and only leader of it, Constantine. Though many feelings came up. Judas was very angry most of the time, but he didn't want to put it towards people because of the arguments that he knew he would set forth. He just started performing much more physical activity to take out that stress, but then he never slept at night. There were nightmares of many things that kept waking him up. Having a lover didn't help either, especially when he was teased that Constantine didn't love him. Rather than simply hate the world now, there is more going through his head at the moment. He's not even sure if he hates humans though, because everyone is mean, aren't they? out of character OOC NAME: Kiss CHARACTER(S): Anglaziel Mavourneen FACE CLAIM: • LUCKY DOG • giulio di bondone, judas hemlock |
