This meant Aleksander was able to come in during the day class and teach. It would probably be a change for a lot of the students, as he usually taught the night class. Still, he wanted to be able to meet all of the lovely faces of the day class. There was just one name that stuck out that was to be attending the last period of the day. Atsushi Date. An almost psychotic smile forced itself against his lips. What a convenience. Fortunately the day class had some student teacher taking care of everything. Alek sat at the teacher's desk to the far left, turned away from the students as he read a book. All he really had to be there for was to supervise. Not that he minded. He was basically getting paid to do nothing.
He figured reading Charles Dickens would be enough to pass the time. The story of Great Expectations was one he thought was rather exaggerated. Of course it was fiction, but it was like one of those books where the storyline could actually occur, but the idea of some boy receiving money from a mysterious benefactor just seemed different. He had finished the book before class was to end, though. Simply enough, he turned ever so slightly to see who had been in the class. There were some faces he had seen through student records, then there was Atsushi. Still as perfect as ever. He turned around quickly, linking his hands together in his lap. Oh, now he was just all around giddy.
Alek listened as the student teacher went on with her lesson. They were going over rational and irrational numbers, pretty simple things. Some students went up to the board to attempt some practice problems, and after, the teacher explained why they were right or wrong. As far as Alek was concerned, the student teacher certainly had a skill with teaching. It was surprising she was still even student teaching still. He pretty much considered her ready to go on ahead and teach a class of her own. Not long after the explanations ended, students were given their homework and the dismissal bell had rang. Some students made a quick hustle out the door.
The light blue haired teacher stood up, stepping in front of the door before the final student could leave. Atsushi had not changed at all. An almost sadistic grin formed against his lips as he closed the door and locked it. He took careful steps towards the other, his arms outstretched, expecting a hug. Aleksander could have said something, but he knew it would have been futile, as the boy was deaf. Still, he was all too happy to see his pet once again. It had been so long.

| [cs=2] Atsushi tried very hard to be a good student, really. He didn't want anyone to think that he was ungrateful to be there, he definitely was, but things were rather awkward for him at times. The halls had too many confusing scents, to the point that it made his nose feel stuffy, never mind the throngs of people around...He dealt with it though, seeing as he had already been late to class on numerous occasions, from either oversleeping during a nap, missing the bell, or simply getting lost. The campus was huge and had so many areas and a freedom of movement that he had yet to get accustomed to.
When he managed to sidle into the room on time, he was feeling pretty proud of himself. Seeing as Algebra wasn't one of his best subjects, it was a pleasant start to what was normally a slog of a class. He settled down onto the chair at his desk, shrugging off his book bag and setting it near his feet. After a few moments he had pulled out his books and the various writing materials he needed to take notes. As he tried to relax, his nose crinkled up childishly as a strange smell hit his noise. It was oddly...familiar. It confused him, but soon he seen the teacher moving and had to focus on her face to read the lecture from her lips.
As he jotted down notes, that odd, familiar scent nagged at the back of his mind. He wondered what it was from...Or if he was even smelling it right. Honestly, maybe his nose was just confused. His senses weren't as sharp as older werewolves, and with how many people passed through the academy, it wouldn't be that surprising for things to get jumbled. With that thought in mind, he relaxed slightly. It was the only logical explanation, nothing to get upset over, really.
That's what he kept telling himself, over and over, as class stretched on. When it finally ended, he was all too eager to pack up his bag and get outdoors, where he could fill his lungs with fresh air. Slinging his backpack over his shoulders, he turned towards the door and stopped dead in his tracks.
What.
He blinked for a few times, dumbly staring at the vampire as his mind fought to catch up and comprehend the fact that yes, this was reality, no he wasn't dreaming...Aleksander was right there and, and...His gold eyes darted to the lock on the door, and a low whimper rumbled from deep within his chest. His first instinct was to sign Sorry while simultaneously backing up, his head turning to and fro as he desperately looked around. Where could he hide? He had ran away and now Aleksander was here and he knew that that meant he was a bad dog and he was probably going to be punished and...and...Atsushi didn't even want to think about it. He just wanted to get away, anywhere but here.
But there was nowhere to run.

Was he trying to get away? Oh, no, no, that would not do. Did Alek have to remind him of exactly who he was? Damned dog, believing he has free will. This did not please him one bit. It felt as though it were just a slap to his face. Such audacity. His expression went from an eerie happy to a rather upset one. Eyebrows furrowed together as he stalked towards the shorter blue haired male. How dare he refuse Aleksander's affection? This bad dog would learn his lesson quite soon. His expression of anger was soon masked over with a content one as he came to a stop. Perhaps the little game of cat and mouse could be paused for one moment. He needed to talk to Atsushi. Just a reason as to why he left. Of course he knew this, but he wanted to know if they boy would tell him truthfully or lie to his face.
Aleksander raised his hand and signed one simple word. Why. Why did he leave? Why did he think he'd get away from Alek? There was no way he would. No way now, at least. Yes, Alek planned on keeping his pet for just a little longer. For that, he needed to keep him in one piece for the most part. As he signed the simple word, his expression actually showed a bit of remorse. The thought of someone he cared for deeply just leaving him like that really cut into him. Yes, he did care for the boy, it was just his way of showing it had been in a sadistic manner. But that was in the past now. The blue haired teacher did not really know what to think. Sure, he was a bit happy to see the boy, but what was he going to do now? There was no way he could just pull him from the school and return home with him.
The teacher sighed, cautiously taking a step towards Atsushi and offering a hand out. Every little bit of the teacher seemed innocent. He just wanted to at least catch his attention. They certainly needed to talk. Alek wanted to know just exactly what he had done that was so wrong. From his thinking, he thought he was doing the right thing. What was it? Did Atsushi wish to harm him as much as Alek had harmed him? People were strange. He kept his hand extended in a manner to show that he meant no harm. Well, just yet, at least. Of course there was no way that he would be trusted right away. After all, there was a saying of, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

| [cs=2] No, no, no, no. The word cycled through his head, unable to really grasp at anything else. This. This couldn't be happening. Yet as the larger male took one step forward, then another, and another, the tingle of fear that shot down his spine made him realize it was no waking nightmare. His face flushed with his nervousness, and tension settled in his shoulders, muscles like tightly wound coils. He was ready to bolt at any moment. It didn't matter that there really was nowhere to go. His attention remained fixated on the man, his gaze drifting from his hands to his mouth and back again, not wanting to miss any telltale comment that his world was about to get a hundred times worse.
Instead, what he was confronted with was why. Why? He found himself echoing back, hands moving reflexively before he could stop himself. What did he mean why? Atsushi worried at his lower lip, teeth nibbling into the skin almost hard enough to draw blood. His mind tumbled, trying to grasp a coherent answer, and all he managed to sign out was a stilted, You hurt--I didn't want to die-- He hoped it was enough, though some part of him realized that it was likely that any answer he provided wouldn't be good enough. It was a lose lose situation.
Then the man was offering his hand, as innocent can be. Atsushi balked slightly, his brow furrowed, as he took another couple of steps back. He had fallen for that sweet act once before. He wasn't about to fall for it again. The obedient part of him wanted to obey, because obviously it would be worse if he continued to act like a bad dog...But...The other part of him, the half that housed his survival instincts, pushed him to get the hell out of dodge.
His options were limited. There really wasn't anywhere to go. The only thing in the room was the desks, and while he could maybe hide under them, that didn't seem good enough. Instead, he whirled around, to face the windows. Maybe--maybe he could get out that way? He sprung towards them and started struggling with the locks, whimpering softly as he fumbled in fear.

His dog was trying to run away again. Alek gave him some time, trying to let a glimmer of hope grasp ahold of the boy. Of course there was no way he would let that hope guide the boy to freedom. As soon as he heard the click from the window unlocking, Aleksander rushed over, grabbing ahold of the boy's leg, yanking him back. What a bad, bad dog. It seemed he had to be punished. All Alek was trying to do was play nice, but it seemed his dear pet did not want any of it. The vampire pressed the other with his back against the wall, hissing under his breath. How dare he try and run? And when Aleksander was going to offer some peace? The silver haired man stared at the other coldly for a bit until finally-
Crack.
He had raised his right arm and backhanded the boy across the face. Surely the fact that he was wearing silver rings would do something. Pure anger burned in Alek's eyes as he inhaled and exhaled, breathless after lashing out like that. It was not something he had expected himself to do. It just... Well, it just happened. Aleksander let go of Atsushi, covering his mouth and nose, keeping his head turned while backing away ever so slightly. If there was to be bloodshed, he did not want to be anywhere near the werewolf. Sure he had a strong resistance, but just even the sight of it could send him mad. The teacher had backed up far enough to where he was clutching the edge of his desk ever so slightly.
After a moment, he gave a sharp exhale, looking at his own hand to make sure he was all right. It seemed as though he was. Oh, he was so upset right now, but he did not really know what to do with the anger he felt. Of course it had begun to die down. Such was rare when he got angry enough to physically discipline someone. It was just that he was trying to be nice and well, his dog tried to run away. What a shame. Least to say he did not regret his actions, nor was he going to apologize for that. Bad pets needed to be disciplined. Now, did he have the wolf's attention or did he need to smack some more sense into him?

| [cs=2] He felt a surge of endorphins as he felt the lock give way, and the glass start to move under his prying. Maybe, maybe he'd actually get away and things would be fine. He'd go find Denver and they'd have some pie, or he'd see how Ayuzawa-sensei was doing, or...All of these thoughts sped through his mind in mere seconds, and then his hope was completely shattered. Suddenly he was pulled away, and then all he could see was Aleksander and the anger smouldering in his eyes. Any last scraps of composure melted away then, and he started shaking, slim form trembling gently. He really was like a kicked puppy, just waiting for the blow to come. Knowing that it was coming didn't lessen the shock or the pain, though. The older man's hand connected with his face and his head turned from the force. A loud yelp tore free from his lips as the silver touched his skin. He didn't need to be able to see the damage to know what was done. A slight scent of singed flesh wafted across his nose and he knew it was his own.
Released from the vampire's grip, the young werewolf sought distance again. Notsomuch as before, however, as he really wasn't keen on being hit again. He shuffled awkwardly back against the wall, pressing against it as he slid downwards to rest on his rear. Maybe, maybe if he was just quiet and kept his head down and just, didn't try anything, things would be okay. Maybe Aleksander would let him go. Deep down, he sincerely doubted it, but he was trying to find some glimmer of hope. The academy was supposed to be an escape, but now - now he wasn't so sure.
Curling one arm about his legs, he held them to his chest. If he could occupy as small of a space as possible, he hoped he would be less of a target. It didn't matter that there was no one else in the room for Aleksander to lash out at - his logic centers weren't exactly working at full capacity. He was flooded with adrenaline, fear, and nerves, and all he wanted to do was sit quietly and have things blow over. Atsushi knew it was never that easy, but he how he wished it was. He raised his free hand and rubbed gingerly at his cheek where the silver rings had marked him, hazarding a skittish glance upwards.

Fear was all about the boy. Such a lovely vision in his eyes. Alek flashed a satisfied smirk. Fortunately he had not smelled blood, but rather it was just burnt flesh. Of course such a thing would heal, but it would take a little bit. He did not want such a sadistic side to come out right away. What if there was the chance someone would come in and find him torturing a student? No, he would save that for another time. Alek stood at his desk, watching the boy for a bit. He really just wanted to see if he dared to move or attempt to run again. There was no movement, which seemed just fine for him. He needed to just stay put so he could admire that fearful expression.
After enjoying it for a moment, he walked over to Atsushi, kneeling down by his side. Seeing the fear up close was just wonderful. Aleksander removed the rings on his right hand, placing them into his pocket before reaching a hand over to slowly caress the boy's face. It seemed he had not done much damage. His motions were gentle at first. After all, he wanted the boy to calm down. That calm would not last long, however. A breath escaped his lips as he took a handful of the boy's blue locks, yanking back roughly so he was making direct eye contact with him. Pets were supposed to obey their masters, after all. It was surprising he even bothered to look for Atsushi after so long. He could have just given up and found a new pet, but no. He had taken a particular liking to this one.
Something in his glare made it apparent that his current actions were not even a little taste of what would happen if the boy did not comply. No, he would put him through so much more pain and suffering. Finally Aleksander stood up, smoothing out his torso before reaching into his pocket to put his rings back on. He motioned with his left hand, instructing the boy to stand up. If not, he could always force him. There was no use trying to be sweet and charming with the boy. That obviously had not worked. Best to just remain with old habits of inflicting pain if the other did not comply. He just wanted to come to the school and reassure his darling pet that he was alive and well. Though that was not the only thing. He had so much more in mind.

| [cs=2] For a while, his tactic seemed to work. Seconds ticked by and he remained on the floor, untouched. If only it would stay that way. He inhaled slowly, tried to gather his wits, futilely trying to calm himself down. It was pointless. His mind was a chaotic mess, mostly cycling over multiple variations of what can I do and this can't really be happening. Atsushi huffed slightly, giving a slight twitch as he tried to push everything down and away. If only he wasn't so easily intimidated by the pain he received, or the mere sight of the vampire...He rubbed a bit as his cheek once more, dropping his gaze back to the floor after watching Aleks for a second or two.
He couldn't fathom what was running through the older man's head. He didn't understand what motivated him to do such things, all he could piece out was his anger and hatred, his disappointment, all negative emotions...It was rare for him to read anything good in his body language, and he had learned that if he did, it likely veiled something else entirely. Reflexively the boy tensed when the larger male approached and knelt next to him. His gold eyes drifted half-shut as the hand caressed over his face. Absently biting into his lower lip again, he fought to keep himself calm, trying not to think too heavily about anything at all--
Blocking out reality was exceedingly difficult when he was confronted with Aleksander's presence though. Atsushi whimpered softly when his hair was tugged on, peering up into the other's face, expecting the worst. When he was released, he tried to shake off a small shudder, then started to stand, the movement a little awkward as he tried to do it quickly so he would avoid another smack. What do you want? Somehow he managed the courage to sign the question to the vampire, and immediately he regretted it. He was afraid of what the answer would be. He was trembling again, he couldn't help it, the whole situation was sparking memories of that basement and--...he...he desperately didn't want anything like that happening again.

What did he want? Such a bold question from someone that was so submissive. Those little flares of free will certainly did humor him. Alek folded his arms over his chest, attempting to think of the most simple way to explain why he was there and what he wanted exactly. Surely Atsushi knew the answer himself. Why was he wasting Aleksander's time with trivial questions that he probably already knew? Still, he would enlighten the werewolf. Lifting a hand up, he pointed his index finger at Atsushi himself. That was his answer. He was there because of that boy, and he wanted him back quite a bit. Alek had never been quite fond of sharing his toys, especially when they had the option to run away. Quite frankly, he was much like a child in those aspects.
He knew rather well that just being in Atsushi's presence was enough to bring fear to him. The blue haired teacher laughed in a humored manner. Well, it was more twisted than humored, but nevertheless, he wagged the index finger he had pointed out. Quite a common signal people gave when something was wrong. Atsushi was a very bad dog and he certainly needed to be punished for running away like that. Though it was better to go at it in a psychological approach. He would never truly make it apparent when and where he would punish him, but it was a certain thing that he would. Alek knew that the boy was deaf, so what better method to use than sensory deprivation? Or perhaps he could offer some more silver in the wolf's presence. There were many ways he could go about it.
Aleksander returned to the teacher's desk, sitting down to shuffle through some papers, taking a decent amount of time to do so. Even so, it was obvious that little injury he inflicted on Atsushi needed to be taken care of. He glanced up at the blue haired boy, looking carefully at the burn marks left from the rings. For a moment, an actual flash of concern formed against his features. The teacher sighed, and began to sign out, are you all right? After all, he could not always show pure disgust and sadism. He actually did care to know if the injury inflicted had not been too dangerous after all. Besides, vampires, much like werewolves, had weaknesses too.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width:400px; padding: 5px; background-color:FFF2F8;,bTable] | You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness. Well jump on, enjoy, you can gorge away. You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness. Jump right! Baby, you've got to be more discerning. I've never known what's good for me. Baby, you've got to be more demanding.
| [cs=2] There it was. The obvious answer. Atsushi didn't really understand why, though, but he wasn't about to try to press his luck and ask further questions. Aleksander always seemed so angry all the time, never mind the occasional faux sweetness he offered. If he was such a bad dog and made the vampire upset all the time, he just didn't get why he wanted him so bad. Of course, there were deeper psychological quirks at work, but those were definitely beyond the boy's understanding. Dropping his hands to his sides, he balled them into nervous fists and dropped his gaze to the floor for a while. Gold eyes falling shut, he tried to focus on his breathing. Thinking pleasant thoughts was impossible when his version of the boogeyman was lingering nearby though, and thus any attempts to calm himself down continued to fail.
The waiting really was the worst. With Aleksander's inner workings a mystery to the young werewolf, all he could do was stand uncomfortably and wonder at what the other hand planned. Was he going to drag him away from the school? Shove him back into one of those dark, tiny cages? The memory sent shivers down his spine, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. His nostrils flared in agitation, and for a brief time he surveyed the room again. It was no use, though. If he tried for the window, he was sure he'd regret it. That fear kept him firmly in place, most of his attention on the tile beneath his feet.
Every now and then he flitted nervous glances upwards, just to keep an eye on the vampire. He didn't want to miss anything he said and get scolded for that, too. Glimpsing him go through papers, Atsushi furrowed his brow slightly. What was he looking for? Then he seen the question and paused. I'll be okay is what he signed awkwardly, then glanced back downwards. The boy didn't know what to do with himself, honestly. Standing there, left to his own devices, his mind started backtracking. So - so running didn't work, maybe - maybe he'd try to behave extra well? It was probably too late for that, but he didn't know what else to do. So with a tense gait, he slowly made his way over to where Aleksander was sitting, and sat down, curling in on himself near the floor by the older man's chair. At least - at least then there'd be less waiting when something bad happened.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=style,width:450px;height:60px;background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/OrPoh.png);] ♔ checkmate, | [atrb=style,width:450px;height:250px;background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/dDxps.png);][atrb=valign,top]words, 404 tags, atsushi/kami notes, this took forever. i'msosorry. Even though the dog decided to listen to him now, Aleksander really did not mind. At least now he was being an obedient little pup. It was just how Alek remembered him. Still, that did not make up for the fact he had run away. The blue haired vampire folded one leg over the other, glancing to his side to see Atsushi. Offering a faint smile, the teacher went back to his paperwork, writing some things down on some pages here and there. It was not much, but he still did not care for paperwork. It was so bothersome. Placing the pen down, he finally turned to look at the student once more, taking in his appearance. Something looked so pitiful about it. Atsushi seemed so obedient, but at the same time helpless. It were as if he knew he would be in trouble if he were to try to leave again. As true as that was, Alek would allow him to go. After all, he would not be able to go too far, right?
Tilting his head, Alek offered a serene smile before curling his finger. Something about the movement showed he wanted his darling pet to come and sit in his lap. After all, he had at one time treated Atsushi as a little lap dog. Perhaps some attention would soothe the poor boy's nerves. Aleksander reached, removing the rings upon his fingers and placing them on his desk for extra measure. Silver was strong against werewolves, as such was proven when he had "corrected" the boy.
It was obvious the other felt as though he would be set free if he were to act like a good little dog. As nice as that would be, Alek would never let him go. Not again at least. A sharp sigh escaped his lips. Perhaps the mental torture of knowing Aleksander was alive, well, and there in the school would be enough. No, that would never be enough. He wanted the pup to know his place, and what better way to teach him than physical pain along with some mental torture as well? Maybe next time he would not run away. At least he was all right though. But really, why did he even care? Such an injury was well deserved. If it had not been, well, Aleksander would not have done it out of the blue. Sometimes dogs just needed punishment rather than rewarding.
